What Business Affairs Loves About Fall
We asked, you answered.
With the first day of fall behind us, we asked what your favorite fall activities were. See what Business Affairs employees are up to this fall, whether it’s indoors, outdoors, alone or with friends and family.
“When fall weather hits the Carolinas, my family and I like to do all things OUTSIDE. We love to explore other towns, visit pumpkin patches/festivals, and go apple picking. Below are photos of a recent trip to Greenville, SC.” – Jody Thompson, Director of Auxiliary Services at UNC Charlotte.
Jim Johnson in Facilities Management Operations loves camping with his grandbabies.
“We love apple picking in the fall and cheering on our Charlotte 49ers Football team!” – Rachel Pierson-Bonin, Classification and Compensation.
“Some of my favorite fall activities include going to:
- Adelynn and Lydia’s Gymnastics competitions (They just finished their first Level 5 meet and already qualified for the state meet)
- Hudson’s soccer games with Charlotte Independence Soccer Club
- Trunk or Treats
- Huntersville Fall Festival
- UNC Charlotte Football Games
- The Southern Living Christmas Show
…as well as, making fires in our firepit, cooking chili, and watching Hocus Pocus with the kiddos.” – Alicia Bartosch, Bursar
“Each year in Fall I love driving the annual Halloween Hayride at Morrow Mountain State Park for our friends and family. The kids have a great time.
We also camp out and decorate our camp sites. Picture attached of the last hayride. I am the driver standing near the truck.” – Julie Hughes, Financial Systems Applications Technician
“Going for hikes in the woods on cool fall days is a treat after a hot summer. Mostly, though, I just enjoy seeing all the fall colors emerge.” – Anne Brown, Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance.
“Last week I attended the annual Colorado Flat Fender Club’s Fall Color Tours.” – Ryan Reichert, Fire Safety Coordinator
