PaTS offers carpool matching on ShareTheRideNC

Did you know you can recoup some of your commuting costs by posting the empty seats in your car on sharetheridenc.org?

ShareTheRideNC encourages University employees and students to post their commutes online and find others who are interested in riding together and saving money. To encourage commuters to sign up, PaTS offers the option to purchase a carpool permit in the PaTS office, which allows carpoolers to share the cost of a University parking permit.

ShareTheRideNC users can also post one-time trips out of town or search for others who are traveling to an area on a specific date and time. Not only does this ride-matching service help you cut commuting costs, but you get to meet new people from across the University!
