Internal audit releases annual report

The Internal Audit Department’s report for fiscal year 2016 provides a summary of its annual activities.

“The report includes a number of interesting features, such as a story about the interns working in our department and one that breaks down a financial budget, not to mention a summary of the year’s audit plan results,” said Tom York, chief audit officer. “Check out the article on how we are changing how we audit information technology, and read about how we spent our time last year through our internal time-tracking report. Also, learn more about our efforts to raise campus awareness about internal audit issues.”

York noted the publication of the annual report is another opportunity to inform and educate the campus community about the role of internal audit. He said it and additional informational articles and resources are available on the Internal Audit Department website.
